Are young parents parasites?
I've had bad thoughts about young lower class parents. My reasoning was: What are they doing? Why get married and have children so young without higher education? You'll be stuck in your shitty jobs forever, your life is over, you'll just have a menial job and won't contribute anything meaningful to society. What I meant was, that after you've lived up to potential and got your life sorted out, you got married and have kids in your thirties that you can sustain comfortably. But wait, who is the parasite here? They throw their lives away to be our garbagemen and our police and generally live to consume society's products; TV, cars, etc. And, unlike me, hogging all the benefits for myself until the very last moment, they make babies and support them in their twenties, as if to say: we've already failed so here's a fresh person to try and make it out there. Meanwhile there I am in my so-called expanded life, living it up, usurping it all, and fostering offspring who will be born with everything, eventually defenseless, aimless since ever, the true parasites, from the individual's perspective. My life, not my son's, is great: I did what I wanted. The young parents are more noble: We're not going anywhere so we'll use what we have to raise the next generation as fast as possible. Their sons however, brought up in harsher conditions will have a stronger drive for something, and if they don't, they'll just make more babies as fast as possible.
